Product Description

Edge Crush Tester Computerised model is an instrument in the paper and packaging industry which helps in calculating the edge crush force and load of corrugated boxes. This computerised model has various  advantages like calculating come Edge crush load or ECT load on computerised test reports.

The instrument helps in calculating the accurate ECT value and provides graphical test reports. The edge crush tester computerised consists of an inbuilt software which can be connected with the computer. Email test report facility and data acquisition is very simple with this model.

The edge crush tester manufactured by Testronix as an easy to operate instrument. Ring crush test and flat cursh test can also be conducted on the same instrument with the help of special fixtures which are designed by the Testronix.

RCT/FCT/Edge Crush Tester displays the crushing resistance in terms of Kg/Unit length. However, for ease and better understanding the final peak load is usually reported as an ECT value. Hence, the Edge Crush Tester can be used to accurately measure the ECT Value.

The instrument has a multiple applicate as the following tests can be conducted on one single instrument:

  1. Edge crush test
  2. Ring crush tester
  3. Flat crush test

The instrument has a wide application for corrugated box manufactures. This instrument is easy to operate and provides precise results.

RCT/FCT/Edge Crush Tester is manufactured under Test Standard IS 7063.
