Dart Impact Tester is used in paper, packaging & flexible films industries for calculating the impact of a free falling dart on a plastic film. The force at which the falling dart ruptures the plastic film under certain conditions is calculated. The impact on the films depends on the falling height of the dart and the weight of the dart.
The test can be conducted by various methods. The instrument also consists of a digital LED screen to provide the user with accurate results and to make the test operation easier.
