• After placement of the Specimen, put the cover back on the desiccator.
• Make sure that the cover is properly placed on the gasket. If the cover is not properly placed, there will be no buildup of vacuum inside the desiccator.
• Once you place the specimen accurately then turn the inlet knob to a close position.
