Enamel paint are used to have glossy appearance on the surface of materials. They can be applied to wide variety of things such as furniture, metal components, plastic objects etc. they dry to give a hard and glossy texture. They are mostly used for surfaces which are exposed to exterior environment or are prone to temperature changes and hard tear or wearing process.

The enamel paints have a very significant amount of gloss in them are oil-based products. The changes in the level of gloss they provide can hamper or change the product appearance, therefore it is important to control the gloss reflection of the objects or its surface. For this purpose, one should use a standardized Gloss Meter.

The equipment offers Tri-angle test method which allow gloss measurement at 20°, 60°, and 85°. These are considered to be the ideal set up and angles for performing gloss measurement of surface coating. The equipment uses an advanced level of measurement technique using touchscreen operation and display for test results. The design is standardized under globally acclaimed test standards such as ASTM D2457, ASTM D523, ISO2813, and GB/T 9754.

It can perform the simultaneous testing of gloss measurement. The device is highly portable and light weighted in nature. User have to just place it on the surface and perform the measurement. The detected gloss reflection of that particular surface is recorded and can be seen on the screen. It offers highly precise results using high-end technology.
