Glass bottles are more prone to breakage as compared to PET bottles. Hence manufacturers need to check the durability and the impact resistance strength of bottles. The bottle impact tester is used to  test the impact strength of these glass bottles.

This is a highly accurate instrument which helps determining the impact resistance of the glass products such as containers, bottles, windshields, etc. This test is performed to ensure that the glass products are robust enough to withstand harsh working conditions. The impact tester for glass bottles manufactured by Testronix provides the user with highly accurate results. This instrument helps in performing the test as per international standards and is designed as per ASTM standards..

This testing instrument consists of a solid base stand with a guide tube support. The guide tube has a slot that directs a weight that slides up and down with the pendulum that fits into the weight.
